GETTING TO KONA PODCASTS

2018 Ironman Wisconsin Age Group Women's Overall Champion is on the podcast!  Jacqui came from a running back ground chasing an Olympic Marathon Qualifying Time to eventually focusing 100% on triathlon training.  Jacqui has also come from a 1:17 Ironman swim to a 1:04!

In this episode, Coach Steve talks through the nuts and bolts of how one of his athletes qualified for Kona. This is going to be a new feature as other athletes like to hear about whats required to Kona Qualify.  We dive into the swim, bike, and run training we did.

James Burke is the man... seriously. Husband, Father of 3, Ironman 70.3 World Champion, ITU AG World Champion, 2X KONA Podium Athlete, IRONMAN Florida and Kentucky Overall Champion. And he has only been in the sport of triathlon since 2012-2013! He talks about his progression, training, and love for riding on Zwift!

We talk about Lionel and also how to personally deal with Stress and Growth.  We go deep, hold on tight!

Stroke rate matters in swimming. I recently did a test in the pool where i did 10x200, starting at 60 strokes per minute and going up to 80 strokes per minute. The results were pretty worthy of sharing!
